167 Green Street is the first multi-tenant office building in the United States to offer all tenants building access through employee badge in Apple Wallet.

This integrated mobile access solution was delivered in July 2022 by Sharry, in close collaboration with HID, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, Shapack Partners, and Focus, the developers of 167 Green Street in Chicago, and Titan Electronics, who acted as the access control systems’ integrator.

Employee badge in Apple Wallet uses Near Field Communication (NFC). It’s faster compared to other mobile access technologies. Setup is quick and easy.

CONVENIENCE
If your iPhone needs a charge, your employee badge will still work for up to five hours with Power Reserve.

SECURITY
‍If a user misplaces their iPhone or Apple Watch, they can use the Find My app to lock and help locate their device and suspend their employee badge in Apple Wallet or remotely erase the device and its keys.

PRIVACY
Employee badge in Apple Wallet take full advantage of the privacy and security features built into iPhone and Apple Watch. They are stored on the device, which means Apple doesn’t see the places your employees access, so data is private and secure.
