Sharry, a global workplace experience platform built around digital employee badges, has expanded the capabilities of its mobile access solution with a new integration. Through mobile credentials provided by STid, one of the leading developers of contactless identification solutions, it enables all occupiers at the Roztyly Plaza office building in Prague to access their workplace quickly and securely with just a tap of their mobile device instead of a plastic ID card.

The Roztyly Plaza is a class A office building offering 21,700 sqm of modern offices on seven floors, with an additional 1600 sqm of retail space. All tenants, occupiers, and services are connected through the white-labeled Roztyly Plaza mobile app provided by Sharry.

This is the first project where an integrated Sharry and STid solution has been deployed. All tenants and occupiers at Roztyly Plaza, developed by Passerinvest Group, can easily generate their mobile badge in the app and then use their smartphone to smoothly walk from the street to their seats.

"Mobile access not only significantly improves the end-user experience, but especially for building property and office managers, it is an effective tool to enhance workplace operations, get detailed occupancy data and insights, and support ESG strategy. We are excited to support mobile access also with STid mobile credentials now,” said Karel Hudínek, Head of Technology Partnerships at Sharry.

“STid readers offer highly secure and customizable STid Mobile ID® eco-system for virtual credentials with up to 3-factor authentication and multiple identification modes, as well as Apple Wallet deployment that enables users to use Apple Wallet with open Desfire emulated Apple Wallet cards from not only STid. This solution will provide a unique user experience”, said Mirka Storm, Regional Sales Manager in Central Europe at STid.

STid readers installed at Roztyly Plaza utilize flexibility of STid Mobile ID® solution that is based on end-to-end security with modern encryption standards and unique one-time nonrecurring fee business model, supporting the two most widely used wireless technologies for mobile credentials – Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

In addition, these readers can also read QR codes which serve as one-time tickets for all visitors. These virtual guestpasses with QR codes are the integral part of the visitor management system that Sharry has delivered along with a smart parking management system as part of the integrated workplace experience platform.
